Every effort delivers on a promise
Environment
Environmental sustainability is a daily commitment that promises a better tomorrow. We continually seek ways to deliver on our promise to protect the planet we all call home. That’s a promise worth keeping.
Responsible Sourcing
Responsible Sourcing
We seek to source all of our bottled waters responsibly. Our water sources are carefully selected and closely monitored to ensure consistent quality and sustainable yield. And, we align our company with brands that do the same.
Reduce & Recycle
Reduce & Recycle
We reduce our environmental impact by using less. Over the last 10 years, we have reduced the amount of plastic in our U.S. and Canada-branded 500ml bottles by more than 50% and in the caps by 25%. All packaging is 100% recyclable, including the bottles, caps, and outer wrap.
Reuse & Repurpose
Reuse & Repurpose
Our U.S.- and Canada-branded 3-gallon (11.3 liters) and 5-gallon (18.9 liters) water bottles are reused up to 50 times. At the end of their usable life, the bottles are recycled and used to make new products. This closed-loop recycling system allows us to reduce our carbon footprint by assuring that bottles do not go to landfills.
Efficient Transport
Efficient Transport
We are currently working on multiple fronts to improve transport efficiency. Recent vehicle purchases promise a 40% increase in fuel productivity. To reduce delivery mileage, our representatives use smartphones to optimize their routes. When considering new water sources, we search for suitable locations near existing bottling plants. We are also developing specialized load/unload procedures and reducing transport distances from springs to bottling plants.
Reducing Paper Dependence
Reducing Paper Dependence
Across our entire organization, we've implemented a number of measures to reduce paper usage. We've moved many customers to a digital billing and contract model. Also, we've adopted digital document storage practices.
Commitment strengthens communities
Social
We feel a strong sense of commitment to local communities. And, the world at large. Why? Because we're more than a socially responsible bottled water company, we are also part of the community.
Community Wellness
Community Wellness
Hydration is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. So, we provide sponsorship to local events such as 5Ks, volunteer events, and more.
Times of Need
